Використання продуктів переробки кератин-вмісних речовин в різних галузях, включаючи, зокрема, сільське господарство, косметику та біомедицину, потребує вирішення актуальної задачі удосконалення способів і засобів гідротермічного гідролізу кератинових відходів. Метою даної роботи було дослідження шнекового електромеханічного гідролізера для забезпечення режимів ефективного перетворення кератинових відходів у корисний продукт з доданою вартістю. Дослідження ґрунтуються на основних положеннях електродинаміки, тепломасообміну, математичного моделювання методом скінченних елементів і експериментальній перевірці мультифізичних параметрів електромеханічного гідролізера. На експериментальному зразку електромеханічного гідролізера здійснено визначення оптимальних умов гідротермічного гідролізу кератинових відходів щодо забезпечення теплового режиму, транспортування сировини, тиску та впливу магнітного поля. Як результат переробки було отримано сипуче, гідролізоване пір’яне борошно коричневого кольору, що володіє специфічним запахом. Згідно розмірів електромагнітної системи експериментального зразка побудована математична модель для досліджень теплових і електромагнітних процесів. Визначено закономірності просторового розподілу магнітної індукції для поперечного перерізу, осьового розподілу на поверхні шнеку та верхніх гранях шнекової навивки електромеханічного гідролізера. Отримані тривимірні зображення нагріву шнеку та безпосередньо самого шнекового електромеханічного гідролізера. Порівнянням результатів математичного моделювання та емпіричних досліджень підтверджена адекватність математичної моделі. Результати дослідження можуть знайти застосування в галузі тваринництва при виготовленні кормових добавок підвищеної засвоюваності на потреби годівлі сільськогосподарських тварин та птиці
