Дослідження було проведене для вивчення сучасних систем поливу та зрошення, спрямованих на підвищення ефективності використання води, зниження її споживання та збільшення врожайності сільськогосподарських культур. У рамках дослідження було проаналізовано екологічні та соціально-економічні аспекти застосування сучасних систем поливу та зрошення, включно з їхнім впливом на навколишнє середовище та соціальну стійкість сільського господарства. У дослідженні було встановлено, що використання сучасних систем поливу та зрошення, як-от крапельне зрошення та автоматичні системи управління на основі IoT, дає змогу значно підвищити ефективність використання води в сільському господарстві. Аналіз даних показав, що такі системи можуть знизити споживання води до 50%, при цьому збільшуючи врожайність до 30%. Використання агропромислових дронів для моніторингу стану полів і точного регулювання поливу сприяє поліпшенню здоров’я рослин і зниженню витрат на працю. Також було виявлено, що системи рециркуляції та повторного використання води можуть суттєво зменшити використання прісної води, що особливо важливо в регіонах з обмеженими водними ресурсами. Загалом, сучасні технології зрошення демонструють високу ефективність та економічну доцільність, сприяючи сталому розвитку сільського господарства. Було доведено, що застосування комп’ютерного моделювання та прогнозування потреб рослин у воді забезпечує оптимальні умови для їхнього росту, що додатково сприяє збільшенню врожайності. Результати дослідження можна використовувати на практиці для розроблення та впровадження більш ефективних та екологічно чистих технологій у системах зрошення та водовідведення, що сприяє зниженню негативного впливу на навколишнє середовище за рахунок більш раціонального використання водних ресурсів та скорочення водних стоків
