EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF PROCESS OF SEPARATION OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS UNDER ACTION OF AIR FLOW

Abstract

The results of experimental studies of the separation of sunflower seeds during their movement under the action of air flow are presented. Dependences are given that relate the distribution coefficient and power consumption with seed supply and air speed. The solution of the compromise problem, namely, the minimization of the power consumption by the experimental setup, with the maximum value of the distribution coefficient and seed supply, led to rational regime parameters of this process.
