Abstract

The article investigates the main reliability parameters of combine harvesters and the functional elements of a Smart technical diagnostic system, which determine the efficiency and uninterrupted operation of modern harvesting machinery. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of reliability indicators, including failure-free operation, durability, maintainability, and technical readiness, as the key criteria for evaluating the operational reliability and serviceability of combine harvesters. The structure and functional capabilities of the Smart technical diagnostic system for combine harvesters are examined. The system provides continuous monitoring of the operation of major components and assemblies, enables the prompt detection of deviations from normal operating conditions, and supports decision-making regarding maintenance and technical service. The influence of individual reliability indicators on the efficiency of combine harvester operation under modern agricultural production conditions, as well as on their technical readiness and productivity, is analyzed. The necessity of applying modern digital approaches to the organization of technical service, remote monitoring, and technical condition control of combine harvesters through the use of intelligent diagnostic systems is substantiated. It is demonstrated that the implementation of Smart technologies makes it possible to detect potential failures in a timely manner, optimize maintenance planning, reduce operating costs and equipment downtime, and ultimately improve the overall reliability and operational efficiency of combine harvesters.
