Analyticality of machine use of shredder of plant materials

Abstract

The article examines the analyticity of machine use of plant material shredders, particularly for coarse stem feeds. Factors affecting the cutting process, including types of cuts, blade sharpening angles, speed, and force parameters, are analyzed. Existing mathematical modeling methods and their limitations, particularly for normal and sliding cutting, are reviewed. It is shown that current theoretical approaches do not provide sufficient accuracy for designing efficient shredders. The study proposes the use of new mathematical models to determine the optimal design and technological parameters of the working unit. The work aims to improve energy efficiency and productivity of shredders and enhance the quality of plant material processing in both farm and industrial conditions.
